Golbarg Pourkhomami, DMD
Golbarg Pourkhomami, DMD graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dentistry, FL in 2004 and subsequently moved to Arizona and began the practice of Dentistry at Western Dental Services until she opened GP Dental in Surprise, AZ in 2007. Since 2004 she has completed numerous continuing education courses with special emphasis on implant and cosmetic dentistry.
She served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) in Meza, AZ from 2008 to 2009 and has maintained her very busy private practice from 2004 to 2016
Dr. Pourkhomami regularly participates in medical rescue missions and relief efforts. While in private practice she was also involved in extensive repair of dentofacial congenital and acquired dental deformities of adults and children through several non-profit foundations “Mission Rescate” and “Operation Changing Lives” in the Dominican Republic and Haiti and other medically underserved areas.
Dr. Pourkhomami also participates in yearly visits to the Dominican Republic along with her husband, Dr. Vishtasb Broumand in which they accompany dental students from the University of FL teaching them exodontia and oral surgery in rural areas of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
She devotes most of her clinical practice to comprehensive treatment of complex full mouth dental rehabilitation cases and has a passion for cosmetic dentistry, as well as medical correction of TMJ disorders and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and placement and restoration of dental implants.
